the bit of manchester you're probably cutting through rather than stopping in, mosley street keeps moving even when you want it not to. 200 degrees is the reason to stop. the barista school side of the operation is genuinely unusual for a city-centre shop, and it changes the atmosphere in ways you notice without being able to name, a seriousness about extraction and technique that doesn't tip into fussiness. this is a place where people who care about the process end up, and that shapes what ends up in your cup without anyone making a point of it. well regarded locally, and for good reason. if you're in the area mid-morning, the flat white is the move.
