world coffee events (wce) is the competition arm of the specialty coffee association. it runs six of the seven world coffee championships listed below — the seventh, the aeropress world championship, runs independently under the aeropress movement. national qualifiers feed into the world finals, which take place at world of coffee, the specialty coffee expo, and other host events throughout the year.
