what it is
World Brewers Cup is the championship for filter coffee. Competitors brew two rounds: a compulsory service using a coffee supplied by the organiser, and an open service using a coffee of their choice presented to the judges with a 10-minute performance. No espresso, no milk — just the bean, the water, the grind, the pour. The discipline rewards extraction craft over showmanship and has been won by Sang Ho Park, Du Jianing, Kaylie Lim, and other figures who define the global filter-coffee aesthetic.
