World Cup Tasters is the championship of palate. Competitors face eight rounds of three cups — two identical, one different — and must identify the odd cup correctly and fast. Scoring is by accuracy, then by time. Many of the world's most respected Q-graders and head roasters have a Cup Tasters title behind their name. The discipline is the purest test of sensory discrimination in competitive coffee.
