the espresso here is the thing to start with, and you'd do well not to skip it in favour of something fancier. arisa sits on jl. pulau moyo in pedungan, a quieter stretch of denpasar selatan that doesn't get the foot traffic seminyak's main drag does, which probably suits the place fine. this is specialty coffee done without theatre, the kind of shop where the focus stays on what's in the cup rather than everything surrounding it. the standing it's built up locally isn't hard to understand once you've spent a morning here. come back for an afternoon, and order the espresso again.
