b o s cafe gets the basics right, and that turns out to be rarer than it should be. specialty coffee in a somerset market town isn't a given, but here on high street in bridgwater it exists without apology. the regulars have clearly figured something out, and if you make the trip to ta6 you'll understand why they keep coming back. there's no performance here, no complicated story you're expected to buy into before you get your drink. just coffee taken seriously in a place that doesn't need to shout about it. bridgwater's high street has its quieter stretches, and 34 sits right in the middle of the everyday flow of the town. start with a flat white.
