you're on queensway, stevenage's main pedestrian spine, and bella vista is right there at number 12 among the familiar retail stretch. stevenage doesn't always get credit for what it quietly does well, and this is one of those places. locals have clearly found it, if the word around the town centre is anything to go by. what you're getting here is a genuinely independent specialty operation, not a franchise running on autopilot, which matters more than it sounds when you're trying to start a morning properly. the coffee is taken seriously. that much is clear from the standing it's built in a town that could easily default to the big names. if you're passing through sg1, a flat white here before you continue down queensway is a reasonable way to spend ten minutes.
