the coffee here pulls its weight against one of oxford's most famous streets, which is saying something when broad street is already doing a lot. blackwell's sits at 48-51 broad st, and if you're spending any time around the covered market or the bodleian, this is where a flat white makes the most sense between stops. regulars come back consistently, and that kind of loyalty in a university city with serious cafe competition isn't nothing. you're not going to feel rushed here the way you might somewhere chasing turnover. the flat white is the move, especially on a cold oxford morning when you've got a long day of walking the city ahead of you.
