good coffee in vulkan, specifically, can feel like a different category of thing. the neighbourhood around vulkan 28 has a particular energy to it, oslo's meatpacking-district-turned-creative-hub pulling in people who are deliberate about where they spend time, and bloom & brew fits that without trying to announce it. regulars here are vocal, consistently, and that kind of loyalty doesn't sustain itself in a city where the specialty scene is genuinely competitive. if you're coming from grünerløkka or crossing the akerselva on foot, it's worth building your timing around. the flat white on a slow weekday morning is probably the most honest version of what this place is doing.
