you're on 700 east, somewhere in that long sandy corridor where strip malls and side streets blur together, and boba break is the kind of place that earns a second look. specialty coffee this far south of the wasatch front doesn't always stick, but the regulars here keep coming back, and that consistency means something. the menu does what the name implies, splitting its attention between tea-based drinks and proper espresso, which sounds like a strange marriage until you're actually there and it just works. sandy isn't always the first place people think of when they want serious coffee, but you'd be wrong to skip this one. come for the morning, stay through the slow part of the afternoon, and order whatever's cold.
