still on the topic of the saint-henri and little burgundy stretch, because notre-dame ouest keeps delivering. cafe mina mina sits at 3027, far enough from the old canal tourist drag that the crowd here tends to be local, intentional, the kind of people who came back a second time because the first time was worth it. you get that sense pretty quickly. it's the sort of place that holds a strong reputation without broadcasting it, and the regulars are genuinely loyal in a way that doesn't happen by default in a city with this many good options. montreal takes its coffee seriously, and this neighbourhood in particular has developed a real identity around it. worth building your morning around a visit, and the notre-dame ouest walk back doesn't hurt either.
