slow weekends have a way of expanding when you find the right place to spend them. cafe taraso sits on yagoro in kiracho miyazaki, a quiet part of nishio that doesn't pull much foot traffic, which is probably the point. nishio is tea country, aichi prefecture's matcha heartland, so a specialty coffee shop here isn't filling an obvious gap so much as staking out its own territory. the standing it's built up suggests people come back, and come back deliberately, not out of convenience. you're not passing this place by accident. the drive or the walk is a small commitment, and that filters the crowd down to people who actually want to be there. worth arriving early enough to take your time over that first cup.
