CD's Coffee and Barber Shop

a barber shop that also does specialty coffee is either a genius idea or a chaotic one, and on northwestern turnpike it turns out to be the former. winchester's coffee scene has been quietly getting more interesting, and cd's is part of why. what you get here is two things that both reward slowing down, under one roof, out on a stretch of road where you wouldn't necessarily expect either one done well. the combination isn't played for novelty, which is the right call. the standing this place has built with its regulars suggests consistency more than hype. if you're heading out toward the 22602 end of town, it's worth building the stop in before anything else on your list, ideally with a cortado in hand.
