coffee tots does one thing consistently well: it keeps you coming back. that's harder than it sounds, especially when you're based inside the wave waterpark on new union st, where the foot traffic is loud and transient and the temptation to coast is real. instead, the place has built something quieter and more durable, a genuine local following that returns not out of habit but out of preference. you don't stumble into that kind of loyalty by accident. coventry's specialty scene is small enough that a shop either earns its place or fades fast, and this one has clearly done the former. if you're anywhere near cv1, the flat white is a reasonable place to start.
