the filter coffee here is worth slowing down for. copenhagen coffee lab has been doing this long enough on strandlodsvej that the locals in 2300 have sorted out exactly when to come and what to get, and if you're new to it, filter is the honest place to start. it's a neighborhood that sits between the city's older industrial pockets and the water, and the shop fits that energy without performing it. nothing here feels like it's trying to convince you of anything. the standing it holds locally didn't come from noise. espresso-based drinks pull their weight too, but on a cooler copenhagen afternoon, a well-made filter is the reason to make the walk down strandlodsvej 48.
