curzon camden takes its coffee seriously, and you can feel that in how unhurried the whole operation is. hawley wharf sits along the regent's canal in camden, which puts this spot right in the middle of one of london's more genuinely chaotic neighbourhoods, and yet the place holds its own against all of that noise. it's not trying to coast on location. the standing it has built locally comes from consistency, the kind that doesn't announce itself. if you're moving through camden on a weekend morning, the canal-side stretch around dockray place is worth slowing down for, and a flat white here is a reasonable excuse to do exactly that.
