david & alpaca is a taipei cafe built around resident alpacas, animals more commonly associated with andean highlands than urban coffee shops. visitors share the space with the animals directly, which puts it in a category well established in japan and southeast asia but still uncommon enough to stop people mid-scroll. coffee and the company of large, long-necked mammals, in one sitting.
