the name might suggest something sweet and fried, but donut factory in usaquén serves coffee that's taken seriously. walk into this spot on avenida 15 and you'll understand why 449 reviewers gave it nearly five stars. the baristas here know their extractions. they time their pours. there's a difference between good coffee and coffee made with intention, and donut factory falls squarely in the latter camp. regulars don't come back for convenience or instagram moments. they return because someone behind the counter actually cares about the temperature of that milk, the grind size, the fifteen seconds that separate okay from excellent. bogotá has plenty of places to grab caffeine, but this usaquén corner spot does something harder: it makes you slow down, taste what's in your cup, notice the weight of ceramic against your palm. consistency matters here. so does craft, the kind that doesn't announce itself but shows up…
