figment takes its coffee seriously. not in a punishing, precious way, but in the way where you can tell someone has made actual decisions about what ends up in the cup. countesswells road sits in the west end of aberdeen, residential and quieter than the city centre, and that location shapes the feel of the place more than any interior choice could. this isn't a spot engineered for foot traffic. people come because they mean to. the standing figment has built locally isn't loud about itself, which is probably why it holds. aberdeen's specialty scene is smaller than it looks on a map, so places like this carry real weight in it. if you're heading out to ab15, the coffee is the reason to go.
