cookham doesn't have a sprawling specialty scene, which means the places that do exist tend to carry real weight with the people who find them. flat harry's cyclery sits out on long lane at lower mount farm, the kind of address that takes a moment to locate if you don't already know it, and that slight remove from the high street seems to suit it. the regulars here are genuinely loyal, not in a passive way but in the way people are when a place consistently delivers. if you're making the trip from maidenhead or further out, the flat white is a reasonable place to start and, given what the crowd keeps coming back for, probably not where you'll finish.
