daikanyama is already doing a lot of the work, honestly. log road sits along that tree-lined stretch that feels more like a slow european boulevard than central shibuya, and garden house crafts is one of the reasons people keep coming back to it. the specialty coffee here is taken seriously, and so is the tea, which isn't something you see at every café that puts "specialty" in the title. if you're eating, the kitchen keeps vegan and vegetarian options on the menu, not as an afterthought. solo visits work well here too, the kind of place that doesn't make you feel like a table is being wasted on one person. start with the tea if you're not sure what you want.
