Gilbey's

100, 100a High St, Marske-by-the-Sea, Redcar TS11 7BA, United Kingdom
verified

the filter coffee here is worth slowing down for, and if you're the kind of person who usually defaults to a flat white out of habit, gilbey's is a reasonable place to reconsider that. marske-by-the-sea's high street isn't somewhere most people pass through by accident, which means the people who do end up at 100 high street tend to mean it. the regulars are loyal in the way that only happens when a place consistently does right by them, not just on a good day. you don't get that kind of standing by coasting. whatever you're ordering, the flat white remains a safe and honest choice to come back to.
