gourmet cafe petitenget takes its coffee seriously in a part of bali where it's easy not to. jl. petitenget cuts through seminyak with the usual mix of surf shops and villas, and most places along it are happy to coast on the tourist foot traffic. this one doesn't. sitting inside taman ayu hotel doesn't make it a hotel cafe in the dismissive sense, it means you get a quieter setting than the street-level spots competing for your attention a block away. locals rate it well, and that matters in a neighborhood where most of the money flows through short-stay visitors who won't come back to correct a bad experience. if you're in kuta utara for any stretch, a morning coffee on jl. petitenget 100x is worth building your day around.
