grain of the silos occupies a converted grain silo in launceston, tasmania, the kind of industrial shell that spent decades storing wheat before anyone thought to put a coffee machine in it. the curved concrete walls and silo geometry do most of the decorating. it is a working cafe inside infrastructure, which makes the whole thing feel a little unlikely, in the best way.
