guadua coffee takes its coffee seriously. that's not a small thing in sumiyoshi ward, where abikonishi isn't a neighborhood you typically wander into by accident. you come here with a purpose, or someone who knows osaka well points you toward it. the shop has built a genuine local following, which in a city this size and this opinionated about food and drink takes real sustained effort. nothing about the standing here feels like luck or novelty. if you're in the south of osaka and you need somewhere that'll actually reward the detour, abikonishi is the answer. start with whatever's on the short menu that day.
