porthleven doesn't have the coffee density of truro or falmouth, but what it does have tends to stick. the town is small, coastal, and not trying to perform for anyone, which means the places that last here actually have to be good. harbour view cafe on mount pleasant road is one of those places. locals come back consistently, and that kind of loyalty in a small cornish fishing town isn't given out easily. if you make it up to mount pleasant road, don't rush whatever you order. the regulars clearly haven't been.
