if you're doing akihabara solo, probably with a laptop or a few hours to kill between things, honey toast cafe sits right on sotokanda, ground floor of the pasela resorts building. not the quietest block in tokyo, but that's the trade. what you get instead is a spot that takes both its coffee and its tea seriously, which is rarer than it should be, and a morning menu that holds up whether you want something quick or feel like stretching breakfast into something slower. the tea selection alone is reason enough to come back on a day when you're not after espresso. sotokanda at 1-1-10, first floor, before the crowds get going.
