a solid find on kompagnistræde, one of the older trading streets in the city's inner city, where the buildings have been around long enough to make a new coffee shop feel like it has something to prove. jada café takes that seriously. the locals have noticed, and if you're passing through the latin quarter area on foot, it's worth pausing rather than walking past. kompagnistræde sits close enough to strøget to catch foot traffic but far enough that the people who end up here usually meant to. the coffee is the reason to come, not the location. give yourself time for a second cup.
