good coffee in chelmsford isn't always where you expect it. bond street puts you in the middle of the city's commercial centre, which isn't the most obvious spot for something worth slowing down for, but jamaica blue has built a real local following here anyway. you won't find a lot of fanfare about it, just a place that takes what's in the cup seriously enough that people keep coming back. the shop sits in the bond street block, easy to reach from pretty much anywhere in the city centre, and that accessibility is part of why it works. if you're in the area on a weekday morning, it's a reasonable first stop before whatever the day has lined up for you.
