charlotte's specialty coffee scene has quietly grown into something worth paying attention to, spreading well beyond the uptown core into neighborhoods that didn't used to have much reason to linger over a flat white. javesca, sitting on south tryon street out in steele creek, is part of that shift. this part of charlotte moves fast, lots of commuters, lots of errands, but javesca has built something people actually come back for rather than just stop at. the regulars here are consistent and vocal about it, which counts for more than most marketing. if you're driving the s tryon corridor and need a reason to pull over, this is a real one. worth going out of your way for on a weekday morning.
