slow mornings on bebington road don't ask much of you. new ferry isn't a neighbourhood that performs for visitors, which is partly why kesh's cafe fits so well into it. this is a place that regulars have clearly decided is worth coming back to, repeatedly, and that kind of loyalty on the wirral tends to be hard-won. you won't find it crowded with people making a point of being seen. the coffee is taken seriously without the surrounding theatre that sometimes follows specialty coffee around. bebington road itself is unhurried, and the cafe matches it. if you're heading across from liverpool or just passing through ch62, build in enough time to sit with a proper flat white rather than taking it to go.
