you're on jl. karang suwung, one of those canggu streets that shifts between scooter traffic and sudden quiet depending on the hour. kuma coffee sits right at the tibubeneng edge of kuta utara, which puts you a little outside the thickest part of the bali tourist circuit, and that distance matters. the people who come here tend to know what they're looking for. specialty coffee in bali has grown up fast over the last decade, and kuma is the kind of place that draws a genuinely loyal crowd rather than a passing one. regulars don't build that kind of attachment to somewhere ordinary. if you're finding your feet in this part of badung, start with whatever's on the filter menu that day and take it from there.
