langams does independent specialty coffee properly, without trying to explain itself. stowmarket's market place isn't somewhere people are typically passing through on a coffee pilgrimage, which means if you end up at langams, you've either been pointed there by someone who knows, or you live nearby and already understand what you've got. the regulars here are quietly devoted, and that kind of loyalty in a small suffolk market town doesn't build without consistency behind it. no performance, no qualifier. just a cafe that holds a high standard and keeps holding it. if you're arriving for the first time, start with the espresso drinks and go from there. market place at mid-morning is a good time to do it.
