the tea here deserves more attention than it usually gets. yes, this is a specialty coffee address on great marlborough street, and the coffee holds up, but if you walk past the tea menu without looking, you're leaving something worthwhile behind. breakfast and small plates keep things grounded, so you're not just stopping for a quick hit and leaving. it suits solo visits particularly well, the kind of morning where you want somewhere calm enough to actually think. the soho location means foot traffic is constant, but that doesn't seem to affect the quality of what ends up in front of you. come for the coffee, stay longer than you planned, and if it's mid-morning, the small plates are worth it.
