somewhere between leeds and the pennines, the liversedge stretch of wf15 doesn't get written about much, which is partly why milepost cafe matters. you don't stumble across it the way you might a city-centre spot with a sandwich board on a busy street. people find it, come back, and tell someone else. that's a different kind of word-of-mouth, slower and more deliberate, and it tends to mean something. the regulars here are genuinely devoted in a way that takes time to build, not marketing. if you're making the trip from huddersfield or anywhere along that west yorkshire corridor, build in time for a second coffee before you leave.
