you're on 39th place in sunnyside, queens, which is one of those blocks that doesn't announce itself much. the neighborhood runs on routines, people heading toward the 7 train, picking up groceries on queens boulevard, moving through the day. moa coffee fits that rhythm. it's not trying to pull you off your path so much as give you a reason to slow down on it. the regulars here clearly feel something worth returning to, and that kind of loyalty in a borough full of options isn't nothing. if you're coming from manhattan, cross the bridge and stay a while. the best time to show up is probably a weekday morning, coffee in hand before the platform fills up.
