the cats aren't the only reason people keep coming back to mochas and meows on falls parkway, though they certainly don't hurt. this place has figured out something most chains miss completely: coffee should taste like someone actually cares about it. the espresso pulls with that perfect golden crema that tells you they're not rushing through orders, and the steamed milk has that silky texture you can only get when someone knows their machine inside and out. regulars cluster around small tables, nursing drinks that cost a bit more than starbucks but taste about ten times better. with 4.7 stars from over 1,200 reviews, they're clearly doing something right. maybe it's the way they actually listen when you order a cortado instead of looking confused. maybe it's just that branson needed a coffee shop that treats coffee like it matters.
