one of those spots that keeps coming up when you ask locals where they actually go. my place cafe sits on jl. raya basangkasa in seminyak, which puts you right in the middle of bali's busiest stretch without the chaos that usually comes with that. the street gets loud, the traffic does what bali traffic does, and yet this place has built a real following among people who know the difference between a cafe that's coasting and one that's paying attention. independent spots in canggu and seminyak tend to blur together fast, but my place has managed to hold its own. if you're heading that way in the morning before the sun gets serious, it's worth making jl. raya basangkasa your first stop.
