naturela gets the coffee right, and on jl. labuansait that matters more than you'd think. padang-padang draws surfers, day-trippers, and people who just want somewhere to sit after the beach path, which means a lot of cafes in this stretch are coasting on the foot traffic. naturela isn't. the sourcing is taken seriously, the preparation is taken seriously, and the result is a cup that holds up when you're actually paying attention rather than just caffeinating between swims. bali's specialty scene has grown fast over the past decade, and places near the southern cliffs have had to sharpen up or get left behind. this one sharpened up. if you're coming from padang-padang beach, go in the morning before the heat settles and order the coffee black.
