the filter coffee here is the kind of thing worth slowing down for, not because it's unusual to find good filter in copenhagen, but because navnløs gets the small stuff right. enghave plads sits in vesterbro, a neighborhood that's shifted a lot over the past decade, and the kaffebar has become a genuine local fixture on the square. you don't need to overthink your order: filter or espresso, both are taken seriously. the standing it has locally wasn't built on novelty. people come back, which is its own kind of answer. if you're in the area on a weekday morning, a flat white or a pourover at one of the outdoor tables facing the plads is a pretty good way to start the day.
