the southern tip of bali moves at its own pace, and jl. raya uluwatu pecatu has a way of pulling you off the main road before you've made a conscious decision to stop. nourish sits at no.250 in pecatu, where ungasan bleeds into the cliffs and the surf crowd mixes with people who've been here long enough to know the difference between a good flat white and a forgettable one. the fact that it holds its ground as a wholefoods spot and a bakery and a pizzeria while still being taken seriously for its coffee says something about the kitchen's range. locally it's well regarded, which in this part of badung regency is harder to earn than it sounds. come for the bakery end of the morning, when the bread is fresh and the coffee still has your full attention.
