you're on jl. pantai berawa, the long stretch that runs toward berawa beach in canggu's tibubeneng quarter, where the traffic thins and the energy shifts away from the denser tourist corridors further south. onuka sits right here, combining chocolate and coffee under one roof, which is a less common pairing than you'd expect in a neighborhood full of cafes doing the obvious thing. the regulars who keep coming back aren't quiet about it, either. there's a loyalty that builds around places that actually focus on what they're doing, and that focus shows. if you're spending a morning in kuta utara rather than fighting batu bolong's crowds, berawa is the better call, and the coffee at onuka is reason enough to anchor your morning there.
