the filter coffee here is what you come back for. papegøye sits on urtegata, a street in the grønland neighbourhood that doesn't announce itself as a destination but ends up being one anyway, and the café fits that same low-key logic. regulars clearly know something you might not on your first visit: slow down, order the filter, let it do its thing. this isn't a place that performs busyness or leans hard on signage to pull people in. the standing it's built among its crowd took time, and that kind of loyalty doesn't accumulate around mediocre coffee. if you're in the area on a weekday morning, urtegata 48 is a better use of an hour than almost anything else nearby.
