Pasticceria DAF Trofarello Pasticceria e Gelateria Artigianale, Caffetteria, Aperitivo.

a slow saturday morning in trofarello, with no particular reason to rush. via leonardo da vinci is a quiet address in a town that doesn't bother performing for outsiders, and daf fits that register exactly. this is a pasticceria first, which matters: you're not coming here for the coffee in isolation, you're coming for the full italian bar ritual, the kind where the pastry case and the coffee counter are genuinely inseparable. the gelateria and aperitivo side of things signals that the day can stretch in multiple directions depending on when you show up. locally, it's well regarded, and that kind of standing in a small piemontese comune usually means the regulars are there for real reasons, not habit alone. worth timing your visit for a mid-morning cornetto before the lunch crowd shifts the mood entirely.
