Pasticceria Orsucci 1947 - Alta Pasticceria Torino

Via Borgaro, 65, 10149 Torino TO
featured

you're on via borgaro, a quieter stretch of turin that sits west of the centro storico, where the city gets a little more residential and a little less performative about itself. pasticceria orsucci has been here since 1947, which means it predates most of what people now call specialty coffee by several decades. that kind of longevity doesn't happen without people genuinely choosing to come back. the "alta pasticceria" framing matters too, this isn't a place where the food is an afterthought to the coffee, or the other way around. the two things coexist the way they should. if you're in the torino-porta susa end of the city and want somewhere that takes both seriously, via borgaro 65 is the address. morning, when the pastry case is still full, is probably the right time to be here.
