a slow morning in kerobokan kelod, when you haven't quite committed to the day yet, is exactly when a place like rexpresso makes sense. jl. raya kedampang sits in that particular bali corridor where the tourist pull of canggu starts to thin a little, and the coffee shops that survive here do so because locals and long-term visitors keep coming back, not because foot traffic alone carries them. rexpresso has built that kind of following, the sort that doesn't need much explaining. the standing it has with regulars didn't come from novelty. specialty coffee in this part of badung tends to attract people who actually pay attention to what's in the cup, and this place holds up against that scrutiny. come for the cortado on a tuesday when kuta utara is quieter than the weekend crowds make it seem.
