one of those places that keeps coming up when you ask bristol locals where they actually go. roco sits on college green, which puts it right at the civic heart of the city, a short walk from the cathedral and the kind of foot traffic that could easily tempt a lesser spot into coasting. it doesn't coast. the regulars are loyal in a way that tends to mean something, returning not out of habit but out of preference, which is a different thing entirely. if you find yourself on college green on a grey tuesday morning with nowhere urgent to be, this is where you want to be sitting with a flat white in hand.
