rr coffee shop knows what it's doing with a single cup. canggu has no shortage of places competing for your attention, but jl. gunung sanghyang has a quieter pull, and rr sits right in the middle of that. kerobokan kaja isn't the loudest part of kuta utara, which probably suits a shop that doesn't appear to need the noise. the standing here is genuinely strong, the kind that comes from consistency rather than novelty. you don't stumble onto a place like this by accident and keep coming back for no reason. whatever brings people through the door on gunung sanghyang, it's enough to keep the reputation holding. start with the coffee, morning, before the bali heat settles in.
