rummies & yummies gets the pastry side right. that's harder than it sounds, because most coffee bars treat baked goods as an afterthought, something to fill the counter between the register and the cups. not here. the pastries pull their own weight, which means if you show up on wells rd in orange park without much of a plan, you'll probably leave with more than you intended to buy. the regulars at wells crossing keep coming back for a reason, and that reason isn't complicated. it's a place that takes two things seriously and doesn't drift. the specialty coffee holds up on its own, but honestly, pair whatever you're drinking with something from the bakery case and you've got your morning sorted.
