Starkeys Café @ J4

9LZ, A15, Broughton, Brigg DN20 9LZ, United Kingdom
verified

the flat white is a good place to start here. it's the kind of drink that separates cafes that care about extraction from those that don't, and starkeys holds up. sitting just off the a15 near broughton, it draws a steady crowd that keeps coming back, which says more than any rating could. you won't find this kind of consistency by accident in a spot this far from a city centre, and that's part of the point. the locals know it. the place has built something real along this stretch of the dn20, and it doesn't need to shout about it. if you're passing through brigg direction, stop before you hit the dual carriageway. the flat white is worth the detour.

thinking of starting one?

we wrote the full playbook on opening a cafe, real costs by city, the 90-day pre-launch sequence, equipment essentials, and the mistakes that close cafes in year one.
